Christmas eve : 24/12/08




This year,
my christmas was spent at the LimSimTeh Family house again!
We had lots offun playing the games and yummy food to eat too!
Games were organised by kenneth and carried out by him!
Lots of photos taken!
I shall just let the photos do the talking!
As it goes, a picture says a thousand words!

by drinking from a straw in the cup

Christmas:25/12/08

I did spring cleaning!
I started clearing all my school stuffs!
Those that my sister don't not need anymore, i throw!
I only keep those she needs!
Basically all my worksheets all down into the bin!
All my hardwork gone!





While packing my room,
i came across this cert!
I think this is my greatest honour in my whole life!

Saturday's work was average!
I was allocated to Pavillion!
It's someone old lady ( Ang Ah Tuan ) 80 years old birthday!
There was six tables!
It was a chinese dinner( side station service)

Guest request a lot!
Firstly, it was a lady who wanted milo for her child!
Secondly, someone wanted a plaster.
Thirdly someone wanted baby powder!
Lastly, someone wanted to smoke in the room!

LOL!

Dear work in Garden Terrace!
It's was some company 20th annivesary!
And it's was a buffet dinner
NO wonder when i go to that kitchen i kept seeing dear!
Cos buffet dinner is always very slack de!
And dear ate a lot!
Not bad what!
Both me and dear ended at the same time!

but he reached the loading bay first!
and he got his cab first
haha!
Though we managed to had a 5 mins chat!
LOL!
Not long later, i got mine!
And i reached home before him!

Haiz..
I am going rot at home for 6 days!
Shangrila please give me more days!

Getting last week pay with dear in the afternoon!
I am going book the days for next week too!
Hope i can more days!

5 days for me to rot!

Yesterday was the first time i arrived later than Catherine and Xin li!
LOL!
Thanks for helping me take the uniforms!
But a slight complain,
the top has one button missing,
the bottom is not comfortable!
LOL!
But still thanks!

I stood at the 6th person of the row at Island foyer
and the manager still can see me!
LOL!
He called me out!
To report to Banyan.
Haiz, i cannot work with joyce in Island ballroom!

Yesterday, Tower ballroom was divided into three parts!
Though i did not get allocated into the chinese dinner that need provide family service,
which should have been a relief for me,
cause i really suxs at portioning the fish!
But, buffet dinner was the slackest and boring job !
Barely there was much to do.
Perhaps i am a workaholic now!
I just feel werid when there was nothing to do.

Buffet dinner for Denso year end party ended a bit late,
the guests (organisers i suppose) did not left after the event was over!
They stayed on and continued their dinner and chats!
It was quite frustraing,
as when the guests are still in the room,
we cannot do much packing!

I got my booking slip back!
lol

This is hilarious!
Someone wrote "hardworking girl" on my slip!
I was wondering if they think i am hardworking,
why i was only given one day to work next week?
LOL
But i realised Catherine is worse.
She work longer than me
But she did not get any day!
So i count myself lucky?
I wondered did dear get any day next week?
This week he only gets one day!
But not too bad,
he can work in his cousin's company!
Sobs
Next week , i will rot at home for 6 days!
Haiz!
Hope today not buffet dinner again!
I rather chinese dinner, family service or side station!
Though i still cannot portion fish well in front of the guests!
But i want to be busy than slack!

went to SENTOSA!
And i got SUN BURN!
First time xia!
My cheeks are red and they hurt!

Had sting ray at redhll hawker centre!
Ate with dear!
Parents saw dear,
they never say anything,
just that dad ask why i never invite him in into the house!

Sunday's was qutie a tense day!
There was 115 tables of 10 to 12 people!
It was Changi General Hosipital Dinner and Dance!
I think i can applaud myself for the sucess for my group!
I was qutie afraid i will screwed it up!
What a relief when everything ended smoothly!

Yesterday, i was in a function room for J and J buffet dinner!
It's was very slack, i could say the most slack among all the days i have worked!

Today, i went to collect my pay for 5 days!
I had collected 200 plus .
I waited in the queue for it very long!
The cashier computer was down!
Fortunately, there's wanyi to accompany me!
Then we headed to Plaza Sing.




We watch Twilight!
It was awesome!
That guy acting as Edward Cullen is hot!
No wonder Lynn was so crazy over him earlier this year!


BUT the ticket was TEN DOLLARS!
lol!
I want to read the book!
spent like 40 plus and gave my mother $200!
I am broke again!

Can't wait to go beach with dear on thurs!
I miss dear!

Yesterday work for me was relatively easy!
First time i was called to work in a function room, Pavillion!
It was a dinner and dance!
Furthermore, the dinner was a western style,
so my job was just to deliver the food to the guests individually
and top up their wines, liquor!
This is so easy!
No need to do any portioning of food!
Easy job!

I drank a bit of red wine and after the guests left,
i ate some of the desserts left from their dessert buffet!
LOL
I did not have the guts to do that intially
but my seniors say it's alright!
So i follow them!

I wish work is always as easy as this!

As usual, during work i will tend to know a lot of my collegues!
Hmmm..
I feel so old all of a sudden!
They tried guessing my age!
The youngest they guess was 18/19
And the oldest WAS 22!
My god!
Do i look that old?
Maybe is becuase of the make up!
They could not believe i was just 16, waiting for o level results!
LOL!
Past few days, people has been asking "Are you a singaporean?"
Oh my!
People starting thinking that i am from china!

Recently been busy with work!
I was always exhausted after i came home from work!

Today finally i had a chance to go out for a breather!

My dear decided to take my brother out
because he had always wanted to watch Bolt!

My sister came along too!

Met dear at outram!
Sorry to keep you waitng!

Then headed to harbourfront to have PASTAS！
It's been a long time since i ate that!
I think it's since 29 aug!
LOL
i have good memory!

After which ,we went to buy tickets for movie!
Then headed off to playground and arcade!
When it was time, we headed to movie!
The movie really suxs!
The plot is so boring!
I can like predict it!
LOL
Only my brother enjoys it!



Then we headed to henderson waves!
It was quite exhausting!
But the journey is with dear, so i cherish it!

Headed bukit merah to have dinner at mac!
But without dear!
He got gastric !
And he had a long journey home!

When he reached home, he had a fever!
Rest well dear!

Dear, i can tell that you tried all your best to make me happy
but if you are sick, please tell me in future!
I won't be angry with you!
You asked me if i had enjoyed today,
Honestly speaking , NO!
Today's is like only my brother enjoying!
But to tell you,
so long as it is with you
i will definetly enjoy it!

Ps: today hotel call me twice to ask me to work today!
Sorry if i wasn't out, i would have agreed!

I've been working on monday and tuesday and wednesday!
I work on tuesday till 1 plus in the morning
and the next day i work at 11am!
Seriously exhausting!

Meeting Freddy, Damian and Chenlong and 4 more guys tomorrow!

Yesterday was my first day of work at Shangrli-La hotel!
It's was JJC graduation night!
I was extremely nervous!
I was fortunate that i met some good seniors there!
If not, i would have been lost!
I had a good leader!
yeah!
He's nice, i must say!

I am extremely exhausted!
My whole body is aching!
The steel trays are extremely heavy!
I spilled two glasses of drink during the cocktail which is bad!
Because there were so many people watching!
I guess i am a newbie so two mistakes should be forgiven!
I just got to be smart and learn from my mistakes!
Postive attitiude and Passion are what i need to serve my guests well!
Hope today's work goes on smoothly for me!
I DON'T WANT TO MAKE ANY MORE MISTAKES!
